The Cathedral’s RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) group is for adults who are interested in learning more about the Catholic faith, with a view to becoming members of the Church. It offers an opportunity to explore the Catholic faith with others and talk with Catholics about their beliefs. Sunday Morning Mass Schedule Changes
As we gradually move back to our normal Sunday Mass schedule, please note that the 11am has been discontinued. Sunday Masses are at 9am, 10.30am (Polish), 12noon, 4pm, 6pm (Polish) and 7:30pm.
Deacon Josh Coming to the Cathedral this Summer
In preparation for the priesthood, four seminarians will be ordained to the Transitional Diaconate at the Scots College in Rome today. Parish Bible Study – Mondays at 7.00pm on Zoom
After a long Easter break, our Parish Bible Study resumes this Monday evening on Zoom. Email frjamie@stmaryscathedral.co.uk to sign up. New members will be extremely welcome! You will receive a short and accessible commentary for the coming Sunday’s Gospel in preparation for the Bible study. At the meetings, we ask questions, share our reflections and pray together, growing in friendship with the Lord and with one another.
Young Adults Group - Tuesdays at 7.30pm
For the Tuesdays of May, there will be a Holy Hour of Eucharistic Adoration for young people, with guided meditations on the mysteries of the Rosary. This Tuesday, we'll pray the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary, led by Fr Jamie. The Holy Hour will conclude with Benediction and a trip to the pub (weather permitting!). All young adults aged 18-35 will be very welcome.

Daily Rosary in May for an End to the Pandemic
Pope Francis is encouraging Catholics across the world to dedicate the Marian month of May to invoking the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary for the end to the COVID pandemic. Along with daily prayer of the Rosary, each day of May has a specific prayer intention for those most affected.
