Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity – Year A

Save the Date: October 23-27, 2023

Scripture Event!

In order to help you (and people across the Diocese) to come to know Jesus better through the Gospel, I have invited Prof. James Edwards to come from the USA to present a short course on the Gospel of Mark in October this year. The “mini course” will take place each evening of the week 23-27th October here in the Cathedral from 7-9pm. It will be open to all and will be a wonderful opportunity to get to know the Scriptures better, but also hopefully to get to know Jesus better. There will be a lot more information about this event coming out soon – but I just want to you note the dates at this stage and to begin to think if this is something you would benefit from.

Special Collection for Presentation to Peter and Paul

As you know, next week on June 14th two of our parishioners will be ordained to the Diaconate. Fr. Robert and I are going to Rome for the ordination with a group of 50 parishioners. At the reception afterwards, I would like to be able to present the two with a gift from the parish. The norm is, of course, a cheque. To this end, we will have a retiring collection at the end of all Masses this weekend for a presentation to the two new Deacons. Thank you so much, in advance, for your kindness!
